The life of the Brotherhood of the "Fêlés du Grand Colombier"

¤ To date, the brotherhood gathers 1034 Fêlés (including 72 women)

324 "Membres" (Members) (2 faces in the course of the day) (including 39 women)

269 "Maîtres" (Masters) (3 faces in the course of the day) (including 17 women)

527 "Grands Maîtres" (Great Masters) (4 faces in the course of the day) (including 25 women)

¤ 1216 Attempts were carried out successfully.

¤ 1584 Checking Card were distributed.

¤ We accomodate 31 couples of "Fêlés" including 10 couples of "Great Masters" :

¤ If more half of "Fêlés" come from the "Rhône-Alps" area, 83 french departements out of 95 are represented.

There are also" Fêlés " in Belgium (32), Switzerland (17),  Italy (13),  Nederland (9), Canada (5),  Great Britain (5), USA (5), Luxembourg (3), Russia (2),Spain (1), New Zealand (1), United Arab Emirates (1).

¤ The average age of " Fêlés " is 47 years.

(Membre 47 years - Maître 47 years - Grand Maître 48 years)

¤ 143 " Fêlés " (including 68 Grands Maître...) are more than 60 years.

¤ Our "seniors", Gilbert PELLETIER and André BOULESTEIX are Great Master at 76 years ...

¤ 8 " Fêlés " carried out 5 faces (5848m unevenness in 176km)

¤ 5 "Fêlés" carried out 6 faces (7273m unevenness in 206km...)

¤ 3 "Fêlés" carried out 7 faces ( 8339m unevenness in 235km ).

¤ 3 "Fêlés" carried out 8 faces (9613m unevenness in 276km...!!!)

¤ 1 "Fêlés" carried out 9 faces (10863m unevenness in 310km...!!!)

¤ If the average is around 1H45 by face, 52 " Fêlés " carried out the 4 ascents in less 1H30 each one .
